Kingsville is a proud and growing community that flourishes with its continued small town feel. Together with our communities of Cottam and Ruthven, Kingsville is home to a warm climate and lengthy growing season that supports our year-round bloom. Everything under the sun is grown nicely here from a wide variety of cash crop farming, commercial vineyards, orchards and more. Even under glass you find a thriving greenhouse sector that is blooming flowers, strawberries, peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Our roots extend to the local businesses and restaurants whose service heroes provide hometown friendliness and excellent service for all your needs. Downtown Kingsville can often be found bustling with activities and festivals that you will want to enjoy. Take a look at our community portal at: www.mykingsville.ca and you will find it all here!
Visitors are often surprised to discover the treasures that Kingsville has been keeping within its community. From our beautiful lakefront parklands and peace gardens to the neighbourhood parks and multiple conservation areas, you will be sure to soon find trails that lead you right to them. All thanks to the ongoing improvements to our eco-trails and expanding active transportation network providing for a safer venture and visit.
As a Community we stand together with our Kingsville Horticultural Society and their volunteers who have helped provide unique landscapes and gardens to our town, as we exhibit our civic pride. We also have a strong history with our Kingsville B.I.A. for many beautification efforts that include floral programs, heritage design, and soon a new downtown clock project will rise up. Kingsville also recognizes that heritage is an important part of our ongoing bloom, and with support from our volunteers at the Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee and the Kingsville-Gosfield Heritage Society we have instilled a program that preserves our heritage homes and also a means to help tell our storied history.
